Different formats. One visual language.

Consistency comes from recognizable decisions, even when the layout, size, or medium changes.

A brand can appear in a video, a thumbnail, a social post, and a presentation within the same week. Those formats have different constraints. Treating them as unrelated pieces makes it harder to build a recognizable presence.

Build a system that can adapt

A useful visual direction establishes a few clear rules: how typography behaves, which colors carry emphasis, how imagery is treated, and where important information sits. Those rules should leave room for different content while keeping the overall identity connected.

  • Define a clear type hierarchy.
  • Give colors consistent roles.
  • Establish a recognizable image treatment.
  • Keep spacing and alignment deliberate.
  • Adapt layouts to the format.
  • Review assets together as a set.

Consistency does not require every asset to look identical. It means the work feels like it comes from the same place.
